What
Refresh Your Career is a new search filter launching on myjobscotland which will allow candidates to filter job adverts accessible to all. A job marked as "Refresh Your Career" is one where the recruiting manager will consider applications from candidates who may not have any qualifications or work experience. By making it easier for candidates to find jobs, they can spend less time scrolling though adverts they cannot apply for and more time working on applications for jobs they can apply for.

How does this work in TalentLink?
The below question is a mandatory field on all jobs created using TalentLink. It is at the discretion of each organisation how you choose your vacancies you wish to consider under this field.

Within the candidate search filters for this question, candidate will not be able to filter on whether you have assigned “Yes” or “No”, instead there is a check box which when selected will show only jobs marked “Yes”, if the check box is not marked, search will display ALL jobs.
Refresh Your Career does not guarantee all candidates an interview, they will still be required to complete an application as normal. It just means that during the recruitment process the hiring manager will be open-minded about limited experience and qualifications and willing to develop required skills in the job.
