In Summer 2024, CSOD launched a new user management module which has simplified the method in which managers and SuperUser accounts are managed on the system. The enhancements includes a feature where we can create custom roles specific to the access level you wish for your managers.

However, this is a huge project and will require a lot of time working with individual organisations therefore in the interim we have built new versions of the current roles in the system to allow us to roll out part of the feature meaning you will be able to add your own managers and reset passwords without having to wait for us to do it. Access to the User Management module requires a specific role to be applied to named Superusers.

We have created multiple guides to demonstrate how to use the features - please use them!

It is very important that you do not issue access levels out with those specified, this includes who you allow to access User Management. Abuse of access could result in:
- permanent deletion of data,
- breaking selection processes,
- breaking the line of communication between TalentLink and myjobscotland front end website.
